My main objective as a TurboCASH consultant in Zimbabwe is to show SMEs the power of using an Open source accounting package to manage their business. The biggest challenge that SMEs face is the integration of an Accounting package and their existing financial control module (manual), no matter how flawed it is the two should co-exist and should be systematically improved.   I recently met a prospect who had both Pastel and Quickbooks but was not using them because of lack of knowledge and sheer negligence of the supplier. Lets learn from their mistakes.

I agree,

what i would like to know is, as a consultant would it be ok to use the TurboCash logo on my blog, website, facebook page and maybe business card?

I really really wana get involved in suggesting some GUI features for the next version of turbo cash.

The Case against Bitcoin

Will blockchain be enduring? – of course. Will Bitcoin be enduring? - not likely.

Unless you are familiar with the terminology of blockchain, having an argument about its future is like arguing with a physicist about the Big Bang. Right now the myopia caused by ignorance centres the crpyto discussion on Bitcoin, store of value and speculative demand. The real delivery of money, the medium of exchange and the unit of account that blockchain brings to anything from IOT…

Crypto Currencies

Economist Dawie Roodt takes the typical neoliberal line on Crypto Currencies. This would be the expected response of an economist who's salary depends on pleasing his big business bosses.

Dawie, Crypto Currencies are not some parochial kids idea, they stand somewhere between a new internet protocol and a digital pitch fork revolution.…
