Hi all, I have been using Pastel Accounting until now, and I wondered if there is an easy way to import a general ledger from Pastel to Turbocash?

I have rtried exporting both an "xml" file and a "Tab delimited" file, but just get an Error message that its not compatable.

I wrote a complete conversion from Pastel 5.22 (I worked on developing both Pastel andTurboCASH), but the started scrambling the internal data after that.

Its a messy conversion for any accounting package. I recommend you do it at year end.

I do have a consultant the will convert the chart of accounts (he does this by printing out the critrial balance and by bring it in. If you need help his charges are $ 50 per hour.

Personally I would recapture the chart of accounts run in parallel and jump at year end.

The Case against Bitcoin

Will blockchain be enduring? – of course. Will Bitcoin be enduring? - not likely.

Unless you are familiar with the terminology of blockchain, having an argument about its future is like arguing with a physicist about the Big Bang. Right now the myopia caused by ignorance centres the crpyto discussion on Bitcoin, store of value and speculative demand. The real delivery of money, the medium of exchange and the unit of account that blockchain brings to anything from IOT…
